NOTE:	National average scores for 1999-00 were 505 Verbal, 511 Math, 1,016 Combined. Virginia average scores for 1999-00 were 508 Verbal, 499 Math, 1,007 Combined. Beginning in 1995-96, SAT scores are the recentered scores provided by the Educational Testing Service. The 1986-87 to 1994-95 average scores were recentered by OIR using software provided by the Educational Testing Service.
