Student Success

Starting Fall Semester 2008, the minimum g.p.a. for admission to the college of business and COB 300 will be raised to a 2.8!  Students must achieve a 2.8 cumulative grade point average, as well as a minimum of a 2.8 g.p.a. in the COB prerequisite courses.  These courses include:

 

◊  COB 191.          Business and Economic Statistics

◊  COB 202.          Interpersonal Skills

◊  COB 204.          Computer Information Systems

◊  COB 218.          Legal Environment of Business

◊  COB 241.          Financial Accounting

◊  COB 242.          Managerial Accounting

◊  COB 291.          Introduction to Management Science

◊  ECON 201.       Principles of Economics

◊  GECON 200.    Introduction to Macroeconomics    (Gen. Ed., Cluster 4)

◊  MATH 205, 205E or 235. (Gen. Ed., Cluster 3)

 

In order to complete your degree with a major in Hospitality & Tourism Management, students must meet these college of business requirements and complete COB 300.
