Typical Training / Experience
We will be looking at two types of candidates for this position: 1) HS diploma, GED or relevant work experience and at least 4-5 years of experience in area of responsibility; and 2) recent BA or BS in film studies, communications, journalism or related field, looking to enter the broadcast media industry. Above all, the nature of this position as a representative of the network to the outside world demands that a successful candidate must have the appropriate level of professionalism and maturity.

General Description: Coordinate all service personnel, building and equipment, and all associated information to provide superior service to the membership and their families and/or guests. Responsible for all the front of the house food and beverage service for the Club. Directly supervise the Wait staff, Bussers, Bartenders, Host/Hostess and Expediters. Also responsible for overseeing the Pool operation, Beverage cart and Turn grill. Assists in hiring, training and supervising subordinates and apply relevant marketing principles to assure that the wants and needs of Club members and guests are consistently exceeded.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help monitors and takes corrective action as necessary to help assure that budget goals are attained.
- Maintain appearance of professionalism at all times.
- Inspects to ensure that all safety, sanitation, energy management, preventive maintenance and other standards are consistently met.
- Assures that all standard operating procedures for revenue and cost control are in place and consistently utilized.
- Helps plan external and internal marketing and sales promotion activities for the food and beverage department.
- Helps plan the organizational chart, staffing and scheduling procedures and job description/specifications for all department staff.

- Ensure, with assistance of the Clubhouse Manager, all aspects of beverage (liquor, beer, wine and all non alcoholic beverages) sales and controls to include inventories, proper par levels, and that all items are rung correctly for revenue.
- Managing the staff to keep the club in a constant state of readiness including any detail that would pertain to a given situation including setup, maintenance during service, and cleanup.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Must be able to read, write, and apply correct grammar and spelling rules at a level generally acquired through a high school education.
