Publication and dissemination of nonviolence and peace research are essential parts of the Gandhi Center mission. The Center publishes the peer-reviewed International Journal of Gandhi Studies. This is the first publication of its kind. One of its goals is to more clearly and effectively define a new field of academic studies in Gandhian thought. The center also publishes two series of publications available online:

• Working Papers Series in Global Nonviolence: Working papers are research articles that have been submitted to the center. The center maintains this index of working papers in order to help disseminate, discuss and improve important ideas.

• Project Gandhiana: An initiative to put the writings of Mahatma Gandhi online for broader dissemination.
