Preparing Mid-Tenure Documents Accountability Group

Tenure-track faculty members have to submit mid-tenure documents, typically during their third year of service, to ensure they are on track to earn tenure and receive feedback on a document that becomes part of their dossier submission. Mid-tenure documents often take longer than anticipated to compile and can be pushed aside due to other priorities (e.g., course preparations, research).
This group is designed to help pre-tenure faculty members maintain accountability, by setting aside time to work on their mid-tenure documents and get some helpful tips and tricks in a community of colleagues across the university.
Program Dates: Thursdays on 11/2, 11/9, 11/30, and 12/7
Time: 2:15-3:45pm
Location: Online (The Zoom link will be provided either with the email registration confirmation or by email the day before the event.)

Our programs are intended for JMU faculty or staff only! If you are a student or administrator and would like to attend, please email cfi@jmu.edu with your request.

Cancellations
If you find that you are unable to attend a scheduled event prior to the registration deadline, please return to your account and cancel your registration. If it is after the event registration deadline, please email cfi@jmu.edu as early as possible.
CFI programs will be canceled automatically if JMU is closed for inclement weather.
