The JMU School of Engineering currently has an articulation agreement with Blue Ridge Community College. View a copy of this articulation agreement.
If you would like to continue your education at JMU’s School of Engineering, please contact Tiffany Newbold, Student Coordinator, at newboltl@jmu.edu or 540-568-8988 as soon as possible. She will work closely with you and your academic advisor to ensure the smoothest transition to our program.
If your community college would like more information about a similar articulation agreement with the JMU School of Engineering, please contact us. We also encourage you to follow the steps for transfer admission to James Madison University.
The appropriately prepared Virginia community college transfer students should be able to transfer into the program with an Associate of Science degree in Engineering and complete their bachelor’s degree in two additional years. The track could look similar to the following:
