Object

An undisclosed government agency has asked your companies to develop a prototype device to demonstrate a proof-of-concept for a system that could be used to rescue small dogs in an emergency from an off-shore SPCA location.

Game Day

Teams will join together for a quick meeting as a group where they will receive detailed instructions.  You should get to know your teammates prior to the Sept 17th event.  It would be beneficial for teams to come up with some predefined roles:  a team lead and individuals assigned to watch time, materials, budget, sustainability, and scoring.
NOTE:  Each team will need to bring one laptop for the competition.

Registration

Competition: You will be assigned teams in ENGR 101 the week of September 5th.  You will have two weeks to talk to your teammates and get together some ideas for the big day, but you won’t know exactly what materials you will have to work with until the day of the competition (examples: PVC pipe, bungee/surgical cord, duct tape, etc.)
