THE 6-12 ENGLISH
ACADEMY will explore innovative methods for working
with writing, literacy and literature in English middle and
secondary classrooms. By engaging in collaborative learning
activities, working with young adult literature, and examining
diverse literacy activities, teachers will develop methods that
will help them learn methods for differentiating instruction for
students. In addition, this summer we are planning special sessions
on working with English Second Language Learners in your
classroom.
