Exceptions for the summer and academic year


Cut-off for Student Computer Repairs

In order to ensure the return of computers prior to graduation/summer break, students who require computer service (including Dell and Apple hardware warranty repairs) must contact the Computing HelpDesk (568-3555) for authorization and drop off of their computer prior to 5pm, Friday, April 27th. If a problem is reported after that time, we cannot guarantee that the repairs will be completed in time to take the computer home for the summer. We will not ship computers home nor do we have the facilities to store computers over the summer. Students are responsible for picking up their computers from the Computing HelpDesk when repairs are complete. This cut-off does not apply to students who will be attending JMU over the summer.
