Dr. Jerry Benson Honored with Vanderbilt University's "Peabody College Distinguished Alumnus Award"
Dr. Jerry Benson, dean of the College of Integrated Science and Technology, is the 2005 recipient of the Peabody College Distinguished Alumnus Award. This award is presented annually to a Peabody graduate who has made outstanding contributions to his or her chosen field. Other criteria include a reputation of excellent character, a respected and ethical work record, as well as national and international recognition for his or her achievements.
Benson will receive his award at Vanderbilt's commencement ceremony on May 13, 2005.
