John Farrell Concert Announced

PHOTO: John FarrellOn April 12 at 11:00 in the First Presbyterian Church multipurpose room, come support Harrisonburg/Rockingham County’s Blue Ribbon Coalition (BRC) and the Valley Association for the Education of Young Children (VAEYC) as they host a concert welcoming the internationally recognized musician John Farrell!  This event will kick off the Week of the Young Child in Virginia, April 13-19, 2008 as well as celebrate April as the National Child Abuse Prevention month.  The concert will continue at 7pm that night at the Staunton Armory with a special performance to support families with loved ones in the National Guard.  If you would like to make a contribution to support JMU faculty and student efforts in their work with children and families in need, you can donate online or make a check to the JMU Foundation (Account 14323).  Please write “Child and Family Support” in the notation line and note the above listed account number.
