Graduation has come early for two Combined-Integrated (CI) doctoral students.  Congratulations to Megan Fiore and Danielle Budash for their successful completion of the Association for Play Therapy (APT) Leadership Academy!  The Leadership Academy began in 2004 in order to familiarize organization members to the contexts of leadership, the Policy Governance Model  and business transactions within APT.  Past graduates of this program include Graduate Psychology professor Dr. Anne Stewart  and current JMU student Jenn Gilbert.  Megan and Danielle were honored at a graduation ceremony held at the international APT conference in Hollywood, California in October.  Look for Graduate Psychology professor Dr. Renee Staton, and JMU CSDC counselor and Psych Sciences alumna Dr. Beth Sydnor to receive this honor next year as part of the Leadership Academy class of 2008!
