B.B.A. degree learning objectives   These are learning outcomes which our core curriculum must help our students achieve. How well they achieve them is measured by an assurance of learning (AOL) process embedded in relevant core courses as indicated.

In order to earn their degree, B.B.A. graduates will have

  1. demonstrated an awareness of ways in which culture, ethnicity, ethics, law, politics, and market dynamics provide a context for and constrain the actions of business practitioners.

  6. developed within their major a specific set of practical skills that equip them to be effective entry-level employees. One or more of these skills will generally differentiate JMU graduates in a particular major from the graduates of other universities.
