Upon completing COB 202, students should be able to do the following.

  1. Identify the components that comprise self-awareness, and describe ways of enhancing the self-awareness of yourself and others.
  2. Articulate the components of self-disclosure and trust, and explain how they are applied in business situations.
  3. Explain how personal values and ethical beliefs affect individual behavior.
  4. Identify the skill sets needed to facilitate effective and supportive performance feedback.
  5. Discuss how to develop effective relationships with diverse others.
  6. Evaluate and explain the key variables involved in effective persuasion.
  7. Evaluate conflict situations, and select an appropriate conflict resolution strategy to resolve them.
