The mission of Audit and Compliance (AC) is to enhance, protect and sustain organizational value by:

  • providing management and the Board of Visitors with independent risk-based and objective assurance, advice and insight, and 
  • establishing a network of compliance partners across the university, understanding and supporting their adherence to all applicable laws, regulations and internal policies, and ensuring that any gaps identified are remediated.
