On June 13th, 2013, the Carrier Family Fountain was dedicated as a gift from family and friends celebrating the 80th birthday of Dr. Ronald E. Carrier, James Madison University, President Emeritus. The arboretum thanks Mast Landscapes, LLC, for donating the redesign of the Ernst Terrace landscaping.

The Robert and Frances Plecker Pond Loop Trail

We thank our donor, Patti Plecker for making the Plecker Pond Loop Accessible Trail possible.

The EJC Arboretum thanks Ed Blackwell, P.E., Principal Civil Engineer of Blackwell Engineering, Harrisonburg, VA for his and his firm's donated engineering services with special attention to environmental integrity and site aesthetics for the Plecker Pond Loop Accessible Trail.

The Arboretum offices in the Frances Plecker Ed Center are open weekdays. Calls and emails are answered from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, except holidays. Check the website calendar for holiday closings.
