Professional Focuses

First-year writing, information literacy, teaching for transfer, inclusive teaching practices, food/body studies.

Danielle’s current research focuses on how writing instruction and programs can adapt to meet the challenges of generative AI. Danielle is also conducting a research study to examine students’ perceptions of bias when they read.
