There are three opportunities to check-in at the Summit when you arrive:

Parking / Campus Map

For those attending First Lady’s Brunch, attendees will be picked up from Sonner Hall. Attendees are invited to park in P-Lot opposite Sonner Hall.

Buses will transport Women for Madison Summit attendees to Brix and Columns Vineyard for Madison En Blanc Dinner on Friday, May 10. Attendees will be picked up at 5 p.m. at Hotel Madison and Fairfield Inn and dropped back to their respective hotels at 9 p.m.

Saturday’s conference will occur in the Skyline area of East Campus:

  • Festival and Student Conference Center (1301 Carrier Drive)

Parking for all events will be in Festival Lots C10, C11, C12 and D3 between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM Saturday, May 11. No parking permits will be necessary. View Parking Map

All regulations for JMU students, faculty and staff will remain in effect, and students attending the event are required to park in appropriate student parking lots with a JMU parking permit. Regular enforcement will continue in other parking lots, and guests may receive parking citations if parked in restricted lots. Guests are prohibited from parking in specialty spaces such as Service Vehicle spaces, handicap spaces without proper permit, or expired timed spaces. They are also prohibited from parking in Fire Lanes.

Driving Directions

From Interstate 81

  • Take EXIT 245 – Port Republic Rd/VA-253. Go west on Port Republic Road. Turn right into JMU entrance. Sonner Hall is on your left on Newman Lake.
  • Take EXIT 245 - Port Republic Rd/ VA-253. Turn left on Forest Hill Drive. Turn left on University Boulevard. Turn left on Carrier Drive. Festival is on your left.

OR

  • Take EXIT 247 - U.S. 33 East. Turn right on University Boulevard. Turn right on Carrier Drive. Festival is straight ahead.
