Stephanie Robbins Forbes (’92, ’93M), who joined Women for Madison’s Executive Advisory Council in 2017, served on the volunteer committee to help plan the 2019 Women for Madison Summit (Women Who Amaze). Previously, she served two consecutive terms on the JMU College of Visual and Performing Arts Executive Council, where she worked with the Educational Outreach Committee and the Madison Art Collection Committee. She has also served on the board of the Speech and Hearing Association of Virginia. She is currently an active leader in the parent-teacher organization at her daughter’s school and facilitates a women’s Bible study focused on the strong foundations of friendships.

Stephanie supports JMU Men's Golf, Master of Business Administration Program, College of Business, Duke Club, Proud and True Fund, College of Science and Mathematics, College of Health and Behavioral Studies, Madison Forever, College of Visual and Performing Arts Seat Campaign and the Forbes Center, Women's Golf, and Madison Fund. She and her husband, Jeff (’90, ’92M), are charter members of the JMU President’s Council. 

Stephanie earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in speech-language pathology at JMU. After graduation, she spent seven years as a clinical supervisor and adjunct faculty member in JMU’s Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
