Clair Blacketer ('10) joined the Executive Advisory Council in 2021. She graduated with a BS in Biology from JMU in 2010, where she was a member of the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority and one of the inaugural recipients of the Madison for Keeps scholarship. Clair supports the Pay it Forward scholarship fund and activities that actively promote women in STEM. After JMU she went on to earn her Master in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Data Science from Erasmus University Medical Center. Clair currently works at Johnson & Johnson and is passionate about real-world data, open science, and data quality. She also serves on the steering committee of the Observational Health Data Sciences Initiative, an open collaborative dedicated to generating evidence that improves the lives of patients around the world. She currently lives in Virginia Beach with her husband and son and their two dogs, Mayo and Lollipop.
