Mary Margaret Prange (’01)

Mary Margaret Prange, CPA, is a Partner in the audit and accounting department of Calibre CPA Group, a national CPA Firm headquartered in Bethesda, MD. She has been in public accounting since 2001.

Mary Margaret has extensively worked with not-for-profit organizations including trade and professional associations, charitable foundations, advocacy groups, faith-based organizations, employee benefit plans and labor unions her entire career.  She is the head of the firm’s Continuing Education Committee and is responsible for planning, developing and delivering a majority of the firm’s internal Continuing Professional Education (CPE) programs each year in conjunction with the firm’s Director of Training and Development.  She is also responsible for developing and administering the firm’s summer externship and internship programming each year, as well as entry-level hiring/recruiting for the firm’s audit department.

Mary Margaret is also a member and the Management Team Coordinator for the award-winning Vienna-Falls Chorus; part of Sweet Adelines International (SAI), a barbershop singing organization for women. In addition to singing, she is also on the Vienna-Falls Chorus front row and currently serves as the Front Row Captain. Additionally, she serves as the SAI Region 14 Regional Event Facilities and On-site Event Coordinator serving directly under the Regional Education Director, planning and administering educational events for the 900+ members in the Region.

Mary Margaret initially started as a vocal major in the music department at James Madison University, but after 3 years determined it was more of a hobby than a career. She switched her major senior year to Accounting and earned her B.B.A from James Madison University in 2001.
