Did you know that writing and speaking well is one of the best ways to get ahead in the workplace? As the saying goes, you never get a second chance to make a first impression, and often, oral or written communication is on the forefront of the impressions we make. In the work environment, accurate and clear communication is critical to get our messages across and to demonstrate our professionalism.

In this workshop, you will gain skills to help you speak and write well.  Are you in the game or on auto-pilot when it comes to your communications? You will be amazed how some simple suggestions will elevate your image and effectiveness!

In this workshop, participants will:

  • Learn how to avoid making common grammar mistakes
  • Begin to recognize Lazy Language or Communicating with the Crowd
  • Learn tools to tactfully direct others in writing and speaking correctly
