Description:
Do people remember what you say whether in a meeting, a workshop, or a classroom? Making what you say remember-able is a challenge for everyone. There is almost NO correlation between “speaking talent” and the ability to make ideas stick. In fact captivating speakers typically do no better than others in making information remember-able. While we all want to be captivating speakers, it is more important to provide information in ways that people will ‘get it’ and ‘keep it.’ Based on the book Made to Stick by Chip Heath (Stanford) and Dan Heath (Aspen Institute), this workshop presents and allows time to practice the 6 principles of stick ideas: Simplicity; Unexpectedness; Concreteness; Credibility; Emotions; Stories.
