If you are part of the JMU community, it's likely that at least part of your job calls for you to motivate and inspire others - students, co-workers, even your boss. But, what if you don't consider yourself the "inspirational type?" What if "Motivate 101" wasn't in your course of study in school or you don't consider yourself a paragon of charisma? In this session, you'll learn about two key ideas that can help anyone motivate, no matter their personality or experience.

In this session, partipants will:

  • Learn the value of being able to motivate others
  • Learn two ideas to help anyone become more motivational
