That awkward moment in the team meeting where your input falls flat and leaves you feeling misunderstood is uncomfortable, but it is something you can address. We all have a personal image and tend to think others see us as we see ourselves, but their view is usually different. Heidi Grant Halvorson, Ph.D., author of No One Understands You and What To Do About It, is just one of several sources that contribute to this content to empower you in making yourself understood. Individual, pair, and group activities will allow practice in the principles of trust, power and ego.

In this workshop participants will:

  • Understand that BOTH your and their “view” of you is incomplete
  • Understand the lenses that shape perception (trust, power, ego)
  • Identify how to correct bad impressions and overcome misunderstandings
  • List ways to achieve harmony in the moment of misunderstanding
