Note: A minimum pre-registration of 8 participants is required for this workshop to be facilitated as scheduled.

Total Workshop Time: 3 Hours

Pre-requisites: None.

Description:

Work is complicated.  Priorities change, opinions differ, and unexpected crises occur.  How do you keep moving forward and accomplish quality for your team? Come learn about and practice four kinds of courage at work: the courage to serve; the courage to assume responsibility; the courage to respectfully challenge others; and the courage to leave when all else fails.  This workshop includes viewing excerpts of a vintage video, practicing your courage in a safe space and developing a plan for yourself at work.

In this workshop, participants will:

  • Complete a Leaders & Followers assessment to identify attitudes and experiences
  • Identify ways to work with and serve the leader they've got
  • Practice appropriately challenging a leader's policies and behavior
  • Explore situations at work for assuming or taking responsibility
