Please join us to celebrate the Administrative Professionals who support the needs of JMU's daily operations. The day will begin with a breakfast and the A/AACP Certificate Ceremony will follow. President Alger will speak and present certificates, then our featured facilitator, Zanetta Ford-Byrd, will begin her presentation.

Facilitator Information 

Zanetta Ford-Byrd is the Nonprofit Studies Capstone Instructor for JMU’s Department of Social Work, the Executive Director of the Harrisonburg Education Foundation and owner of Ford-Byrd Consulting, LLC. She was recently appointed as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Harrisonburg and is recognized as a Valley Up-and-Coming Business leader in the Daily News Record’s ‘Top 10 Under 40.’ Her commitment to philanthropy and volunteering is lived in service to many nonprofit boards and committees including Girl Scouts and Empowerment 3-Overcoming Barriers. In addition to an MBA, she has continued her education to earn many certificates and is currently completing her dissertation to earn a PhD in Public Policy and Administration with a focus in Nonprofit Management and Leadership.
