Description

Duties:

• Under the supervision and support of a Behavior Analyst, implement skill acquisition and behavior modification strategies for clients in the home, clinic or community.
• Record data for program progress and behavior goals at each session.
• Collaborate with supervisors to review client progress.
• Assist in the implementation and consistency of the interventions established in the client’s plan.

Requirements: 

Required Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess at least a high school diploma.
• Must have use of vehicle for transportation to sessions; Maintain a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Experience with individuals with Autism or related disabilities is strongly preferred.

Physical requirements:

Regularly required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear. Frequently required to stand and occasionally run. Exposure to physical risk including mild to moderate physical aggression.

Required Screenings and Trainings:

• Must undergo federal and state criminal background checks, child protective service registry check.
• Must provide a clear TB test result from within the past 3 months.

Salary
$18-$25 per hour, based on experience

Specific hours
Hours needed are primarily after school, Mon-Fri, typically 3-5 or 3:30-5:30. Additional hours may be available as coverage for staff vacations, etc.

Duration of position
Permanent part time, flexible with changing semester schedules.
