Description

Duties:

• Smiling, early risers who enjoy Farmers Markets to load company vehicle and deliver goods to market.
• Set up displays, fulfill orders.
• Process purchases on a POS system, make change.
• Answer questions about products, handle tricky customers gently.
• Pack up and return to bakery.
• Unload cash drawer and plug in tablet POS and credit card scanner.

Requirements:

• Must be able to drive and have a clean driving record.
• Be able to lift 40+ Lbs., be spatially aware.
• Good customer service skills.
• Be able to learn products to answer customer questions or be able to provide alternative assistance.
• Work during holidays, summers, time off from school, all through the year.
• Tolerance for weather changes as all our farmers markets are outdoors.
• Must be available to work 2-3 Saturdays a month, some Tuesday markets would be helpful.

Additional Information:

We also work seasonal JMU Wednesday Markets that are available in Spring and Fall for 8 weeks, about 9 hours weekly. Raise is possible after training and 6 months with no call-off or absences. This job has a lot of trust involved, need mature, capable and positive applicants.

How to apply:

Salary
$12-13/hr

Hours per week
6-11 hours per week.

Specific hours
Tuesdays: 7am - 1:30pm. Saturdays Harrisonburg: 7am -1:30 pm; Leesburg: 5am - 2:30pm.
