Description

Duties:

This is a Medicaid funded position for Personal Care Aide for (allegedly) non-verbal, but very expressive and social 7yr old autistic boy. Medicaid has set the pay rate for this position at $12.70/hr. We are a fun and relaxed household right next to Ridgeview Park in Waynesboro! Parents share custody and you will mostly be at mom's house but can arrange to work with dad as well. Flexible schedule. 15-30 hours per week available. More if you'd like to work weekends. No evenings.

Requirments:

There are downtimes when he wants iPad for 45min but he can be active for 2 or 3 hours at a time. Get ready to swing, scooter, SWIM, and develop an appreciation for robot vacuums. Will need to microwave his food, but he can self-feed. Mom works from home. Will be available for actual emergencies or diaper blowout emergencies.

9-3 or 10-2 would be ideal on mom days. Custody alternating weeks. Mom weeks are Mom M-W, Dad on Thursday, Mom Friday to Sunday Dad weeks are Mom M, T, W, Dad Thursday to Sunday.

May 22nd through August.
