Job Description:

Do you ever wonder what it takes to make the 'Big Screen' work at sporting events? You can be a part of that 'behind-the-scenes' magic! Production Assistants are needed for the upcoming football and basketball video board productions! The video board production team strives to enhance the fans’ gameday experience in Bridgeforth Stadium and the Atlantic Union Bank Center and through the use of fan shots, replays, stats, and engaging content on the video board—all while capturing the action of the game. Production assistant’s wide variety of tasks may include, but are not limited to:

  • Pre-game setup/post-game teardown.
  • Replay operation.
  • Graphics operation.
  • Camera operation.
  • Assisting baseline/sideline camera operators.

Other production duties as needed. The production team also supports a handful of non-sporting events held in both venues including (but not limited to): Commencement Ceremonies and the Parade of Champions. GREAT opportunity for those who are looking to get involved with sports and/or live video production.


Candidates must be available to work most events. For football, ALL 6 home games are required including any post-season (schedule can be found here: https://jmusports.com/sports/football/schedule). Basketball has more flexibility due to the amount of games (schedule will be released later this fall). Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of basketball and/or football is required. Video knowledge/experience is preferred, but not required.
