Duties:

We are seeking an in-home nanny for our infant son for May - August 2021. We are located in Harrisonburg in walking distance to JMU. We need someone who is dependable, punctual, honest, and detail-oriented. We are a smoke-free household. Job responsibilities would include general infant care (bathing/changing/feeding), educational activities and developmental engagement, outside time, and general housekeeping. One parent works from home and would generally be available as needed. Weekly pay via cash, check or electronic platform of choice. An opportunity to continue beyond August is a possibility. Priority will be given to applicants who apply by February 1.

Requirements: 

Experience caring for infants (he will be 7 months in May), is/will be CPR/first aid certified, has a valid driver’s license and transportation, and is comfortable with dogs. Please submit 3 references with at least 1 who can speak to your work with children. Must be willing to complete a background check.

Salary
$10-$15/hour based upon experience; lunch/snacks provided; vacation dates negotiable

Hours per week
40 hours/week

Specific hours
8:30am-5:30pm M-F during mid-May, June, July, and mid-August but are flexible and willing to discuss needs. A schedule where Friday hours are 8:30am-12:30pm could also be accommodated.
