The William T. Grant Foundation supports high-quality research that is relevant to policies and practices that affect the lives of young people ages 5 to 25 in the United States. Research is funded that increases the understanding of programs, policies, and practices that reduce inequality in youth outcomes, and research that identifies, builds, and tests strategies to improve the use of research evidence in ways that benefit youth.

Funding: Research grants on reducing inequality typically range from $100,000 to $600,000 and cover two to three years of support. Improving the use of research evidence grants will range from $100,000 to $1,000,000 and cover two to four years of support.
