Aidan Regan has a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the College of Human Sciences, University College Dublin (UCD) and previously worked as a researcher at the Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Labour Studies (AIAS), at the University of Amsterdam. Since 2012, Dr. Regan has been a Max Weber fellow at the Department of Political and Social Science in the European University Institute (EUI).

Dr. Regan's research interests include the comparative political economy of labor relations, welfare states, income inequality, and processes of institutional change in the EU. His doctoral dissertation, which examined the political economy of centralized wage bargaining in the EMU with a specific historical focus on the rise and fall or Irish social partnership, will be published as a book next year.
