Kids' Night Out is an opportunity for children ages 5 - 12 to come to UREC to play, climb, swim, interact with other children and enjoy a pizza party. Each Kids' Night Out is supervised by experienced camp counselors and a Graduate Assistant. Our philosophy for each night is recreation, fun and friendship!

This spring, Kids' Night Out will be offered:

• Friday, February 24, 2023 (register by Thu, 2/23 at 5 p.m.)
• Friday, March 31, 2023 (register by Thu, 3/30 at 5 p.m.)
• Friday, April 21, 2023 (register by Thu, 4/20 at 5 p.m.)

• 4:45 - 5 p.m. - Dropoff*
• 5 - 6:15 p.m. - Rock Wall
• 6:15 - 6:50 p.m. – Pizza
• 6:50 - 7:55 p.m. - Swimming
• 7:55 - 8:45 p.m. – Activity (Sports, Games, Fun!)
• 8:45 - 9 p.m. – Pickup**

* Dropoff begins at 4:45 p.m. and lasts until 5 p.m. at the turnaround vestibule outside Door N, which is located on Driver Drive.

** Pickup will begin at 8:45 p.m. and we ask that each child is picked up by 9 p.m.

• Kids' Night Out is $30 per child. 
• To register online, go to urecregister.jmu.edu and select "SIGN IN" at the top right corner.
  
  • If you are a JMU faculty/staff/student, your login is your JMU E-ID and JMU password.
  • If you are not currently affiliated with JMU, create a guest account by selecting "SIGN UP."
• Please note that you will need to add a dependent to your account before registering your child for youth programs.
  
  • If you are already logged in, click on your username link on the top right of the urecregister.jmu.edu page and click "Profile."
  • If you are not logged in, select "SIGN IN" at the top and log in.
  • Scroll to the bottom and click "ADD FAMILY MEMBER." Once this is complete, you will be able to register your child.
• Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.
• You also have the option to register at UREC with FLEX.

A written request or email must be sent to the Assistant Director for Intramural Sports and Youth Programs no later than 6 days prior to the Kids' Night Out scheduled date. A convenience fee for credit payment will not be refunded.
