UREC 218

Emma graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work degree from James Madison University in 2017. During her undergraduate career, she taught group exercise and discovered her passion for campus recreation. She began the Sport and Recreation Leadership graduate program in the fall of 2018 and worked with the Associate Director of Programming on evaluations of the various programs UREC has to offer. She will graduate from the program in May of 2020 with a Master of Science degree with a concentration in Campus Recreation.

Emma is from Aldie, Virginia just outside of the suburbs of Northern Virginia. In her spare time, she enjoys running long distances, taking weekend trips to the beach, and exploring new places in the Valley. When she’s not at JMU football games, she’s probably cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Her favorite thing about UREC has been the lifelong friends she has made and the healthy environment that is cultivated.
