Alumni Career Day 11/11/21

The Student Engagement Committee of the JMU Department of Political Science's Alumni Board is hosting its annual Alumni Day on Thursday, November 11. You can learn more and register here. The registration deadline is November 9th.

Alumni Day this year will return to an IN-PERSON format on JMU's campus. This event is specifically for students majoring or minoring in Political Science, Public Policy & Administration, International Affairs, or Political Communication.

Alumni Day is a great opportunity to learn from and meet JMU alumni. Past student participants have really valued the time and effort put in by our alumni. Students have also obtained internships or job leads through the connections they have made on Alumni Day and/or have been better prepared for their first internship or job interviews.

All 3 events below will be held in The Union, room 306:

• Non-Profit & Government Careers Panel, 11:00am - Noon
• Private Sector Careers Panel, 1:00 - 2:00pm
• How-To-Network Workshop, 2:00 - 3:00 pm

The suggested dress code for Alumni Day career events is business casual -- but there is no required dress code for any of these events.
