Paul Nedelisky is a philosopher at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture at the University of Virginia. He focuses on metaphysics, metaethics, and social theory. He co-authored with James Davison Hunter the book Science and the Good: The Tragic Quest for the Foundations of Morality. He has won several teaching awards, including being named an honoree of the Seven Society’s Graduate Fellowship for Superb Teaching. At JMU, Dr. Nedelisky teaches Philosophy 150: Ethical Reasoning.
