Director, Lifelong Learning Institute

I became the Director of the Lifelong Learning Institute in January 2022. I earned a master’s degree in Adult Education/Human Resource Development while working full-time at James Madison University and am currently pursuing a second master’s degree in Communication Advocacy. I am passionate about lifelong learning (as a teacher, advocate, collaborator, and student!) and enjoy working with adult learners. Prior to my work at JMU I was a case manager in the local community working with survivors of domestic violence and in the affordable housing industry. I’ve served on various non-profit boards and worked closely with agencies focused on providing mental health services in the Harrisonburg/Rockingham County area. I am excited to expand the LLI network through growing its membership and course offerings.
