Alex is responsible for overseeing Orientation programs including the One Book process and one-day Orientation program in June and July. She oversees the transition of students from paid deposit until they arrive in August and ensures new first-year and transfer students have the resources they need to transition smoothly to JMU. She graduated from Bridgewater College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences. Alex received her Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from JMU. Alex enjoys gardening, volunteering at her church, hiking, and traveling with her husband, David and dog, Otis.
