Cait assists the 1787 Coordinator in developing 1787 August Orientation materials. She helps select, train, and supervise the student staff and supports both December Transfer Orientation and summer Orientation programs. Cait received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from JMU, and is currently working on her second JMU degree, a Master of Education in Adult Human Resource Development. She enjoys reading, laughing, and boxing. Cait likes to watch and quote movies, sometimes while eating cheese.

Summer Springboard Programming and Student Staff Graduate Assistant

Bonnie Fisher

Bonnie is responsible for assisting in the recruitment, selection, hiring, and training of Orientation’s student programming staff. She also plans the winter O-Team retreat and supports summer and fall programming. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Eastern Mennonite University, here in Harrisonburg. Bonnie is working on her Master of Education in College Student Personnel Adminstration, at JMU. She likes to read, hike, and hang out with her dog, Kiley, in her spare time.

Assessment Graduate Assistant

Carolyn Miesen

Carolyn assists in developing assessment practice for Orientation's programming. She reports to the Director of Orientation, but works closely with other departmental staff that oversee assessment plans. Additionally, she provides support to programmatic functions throughout the year. Carolyn received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Roanoke College. At JMU, she's working on her Master of Arts degree in Psychology with a Quantitative Psychology concentration. Carolyn enjoys a variety of hobbies including hiking, reading, and photography.
