Event Description: Adding captions to videos is near the top of the list when it comes to ensuring the accessibility of course materials as well as increasing learner understanding and engagement. Captioning enables you to make media shared with students universally designed; not only is it inclusive to students with disabilities, but studies show that captioned videos are watched 40% longer than un-captioned videos. This quick and easy workshop featuring YouTube will show you how to create captions accurately without having to learn another software or pay for outside vendors.
