UREC Spring Break Service Trip to Nassau, Bahamas!

Are you looking to make a difference this spring break? Do you love working with youth?  Are you looking to spend the week in an exotic location? Want to challenge yourself and create new friendships? Then apply to the lottery for this year’s UREC Spring Break Service Trip to Nassau, Bahamas!

During the trip, we will work with elementary school children from Uriah McPhee Primary School to help them develop life skills and promote a physically active lifestyle, all while having a lot of fun!  This incredible opportunity will allow you to enhance your skills in facilitation, teamwork, communication and leadership.  You’ll get a chance to submerse yourself in service while experiencing the wonderful culture of the Bahamas!  

A few trip details:

  • Date: March 4th – March 11th 2016
  • Cost is around $1000, we will fundraise to help lessen this cost! This cost is to cover the flights, housing, transportation and a majority of the food for the trip.
  • This service trip is alcohol and substance-free.
  • Training sessions are required leading up to the trip.
  • You must have a valid passport!

How do you sign up?

Follow this link to the lottery system! You ONLY need to enter your name ONCE! The system will randomly select participants once the lottery has closed. The lottery will be active beginning Wednesday 10/21 at 8am and go offline on Friday 10/23 at noon. Don’t miss out!

If you are selected, you will be notified by Monday 10/26.
