Dr. Charles Bolyard to become new Chair of the Philosophy and Religion Department

Dr. Charles Bolyard (Associate Professor of Philosophy) has been named by College of Arts and Letters Dean David Jeffrey to become the new Chair of the Department of Philosophy and Religion.  Dr. Bolyard's tenure will begin in January 2014.  Dr. Bolyard has served as the Associate Chair of the Department for the past several years.  Dr. Alan Kirk (Professor of Religious Studies), who has served with distinction as the Departmental Chair since 2008, will serve his last semester as Chair next fall (2013).  The Department extends its congratulations to Dr. Bolyard for his appointment, and looks forward to his upcoming tenure as Chair.
