Kline-Gabel appointed to serve on Virginia Latino Advisory Board

News

Please join us in congratulating Karina Kline-Gabel, who has been appointed by Governor McAuliffe to serve as a member of the Virginia Latino Advisory Board. Created "in recognition of one of the fastest growing ethnic groups in Virginia and the nation as a whole," the VLAB advises the Governor on issues of Latino interest.

Karina has been and continues to be a tireless advocate on behalf of the Latinx and Hispanic communities at JMU and throughout Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, and we are fortunate to have her as part of our committee. We can think of no person more deserving of the honor of serving in this capacity, and no person more capable of advocating for these communities at the state level.

We are proud to know you, Karina!
