IRS Taxpayer Guide to Identity Theft

The Internal Revenue Service(IRS)  has created a Taxpayer Guide to Identity Theft http://www.irs.gov/uac/Taxpayer-Guide-to-Identity-Theft  with warning signs and steps to take if you know or suspect you are a victim of tax-related identity theft. Tax-related identity theft occurs when someone uses your stolen Social Security number to file a tax return claiming a fraudulent refund.
