Nash appointed to Climate Change Strategies and Archaeological Resources Committee

Nash (Associate Professor, Integrated Science and Technology) has been appointed by the Society for American Archaeology to serve on the newly formed Climate Change Strategies and Archaeological Resources Committee. The purpose of the committee, which is composed of members from a variety of countries and international organizations, is to address the multiple challenges posed by climate change to the archaeological record. As part of her work for CCSAR, Nash is creating the “Climate Change Response Network for Mid-Atlantic Cultural Heritage Resources” to develop an online clearinghouse of research and salvage projects, public education activities, policy initiatives and publications.
