JMU Giving Day 2019: Furious Flower

Furious Flower Poetry Center is the nation's first academic center dedicated to Black Poetry; we need your support to preserve this history and ensure the center's future. This year marks 25 years since the historic conference that established Furious Flower and to commemorate this anniversary, we aim to raise an endowment fund to ensure many more years of readings, conferences, and camps. To celebrate JMU's annual giving day, we're asking friends, alumni, and poetry lovers everywhere to help Furious Flower reach its goal and secure its position as a vital and necessary fixture of James Madision University's campus.
