Ambassadors serve as representatives of the Professional Education Unit and may participate in activities such as:
- Recruiting prospective students
- Acting as peer advisors for students applying to Teacher Education
- Volunteering at campus-wide events
- Presenting at recruitment and orientation events
- Tutor students for the Praxis Core exam
Students interested in being a Professional Education Ambassador must be enrolled in a JMU Professional Education Program, be in good academic standing, have a sincere desire to represent JMU Professional Education, and possess good communication skills.
