Become an Ambassador for JMU’s Professional Education Programs

Application DEADLINE 5:00 pm, Wednesday,  April 1st.  Please submit complete packet to  Room 3185 in Memorial Hall.

Ambassadors serve as representatives of the Professional Education Unit and may participate in activities such as:

  • Recruiting prospective students
  • Acting as peer advisors for students applying to Teacher Education
  • Volunteering at campus-wide events
  • Presenting at  recruitment and orientation events
  • Tutor students for the Praxis Core exam

Students interested in being a Professional Education Ambassador must be enrolled in a JMU Professional Education Program, be in good academic standing, have a sincere desire to represent JMU Professional Education, and possess good communication skills.
