Dr. Mary Gowan in the News


CoB Dean Mary Gowan was recently interviewed by local media outlets.

She spent time with Jim Britt of WSVA and Emily Sharrer of the Daily News Record, sharing some of her thoughts on the College of Business. 

The Daily News Record article begins with  “As the James Madison Uni­versity College of Business’ new dean, she begins her tenure at a time when the uni­versity has a fairly new presi­dent and plans are under way to revamp the business school’s vision and mission statements. Gowan says this semester marks the perfect time to tran­sition into her role.
